Obituary of Ethel Mae DeNio

In Loving Memory of Ethel Mae DeNio Mencel, age 93, passed away at Essentia Health St. Mary’s Hospital, Duluth, MN in 2020.

She was born September 15, 1927 in Duluth, MN.  The daughter of Violet C. Cullen and Thomas H. DeNio.  She married William “Bill” Mencel and she just loved going dancing with him. 

She was preceded in death by her Mother, Violet C. DeNio, Father, Thomas H. DeNio and Husband, William “Bill” Mencel. 

She is survived by her Brothers, Donald T. “Marge” DeNio, Tom DeNio; Sisters, Irene Sorenson, Georgann Cisotto, Gen Henekemp, Margarite DeNio, Nephew, Bob “Brenda” DeNio, Nieces Sheri “Jason” Deiter, Joanna “Joe” DeNio.
