Obituary of Bonnie Mae Wruck
Bonnie Mae Wruck, 73 of Rice, MN passed away peacefully with family by her side on Sunday, August 4th, 2024.
Bonnie was born February 3, 1951 in Milwaukee, WI to Dean & Margaret Campbell. She attended school at Kosciusko in Milwaukee. She lived in California for a short time as a child before returning to Milwaukee. In 1977, Bonnie met David and they were blessed with 47 years of unconditional love together, working and raising their family in Rice, MN and St James, MN. Bonnie worked many jobs throughout her life, JC Penney Catalog DC, Kmart, Design Line Cabinets, waitressing, along with other retail and production jobs.
Bonnie enjoyed quilting, crocheting, card games, bingo, gardening, agate picking, angels, stamping, bowling and cherished gatherings with her family and friends. Bonnie volunteered her time for Christian Mothers Group in Mayhew Lake and St. James. Bonnie loved spending time at the farm, in Rice where she and David retired to enjoy life together.
Bonnie is a survived by her husband, David; son, Nicholas (Gabrielle); daughter, Melanie (Troy); grandchildren: Collin, Kadyn, Kennedi, Ted and Elizabeth; David’s oldest children: daughter, Donna (Tim) and son, Rocky (Heather); granddaughters, Amanda and Alannah (Andrew); brothers, Tim, Robin (Colleen); sister-in-law, Josephine; nephews, Tim Jr., Jason, Jamie and Elliott (Angela); nieces, Chelsea (Aaron) and Christine; and many other cousins, brother and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, Dean & Margaret; father and mother-in-law, Ervin & Lucille; brothers, Thomas & Ricky; and many brothers-in-law and nephews.
Bonnie’s heart touched everyone she met. Family and friends were her everything. She cherished life to the fullest. Bonnie helped many people throughout her life and continued to do so afterlife, providing hope to others as an organ donor.
Celebration of Bonnie’s Life will be held on Monday, August 19th at Annunciation Catholic Church (9965 Mayhew Lake Rd NE in Sauk Rapids, MN 56379). Visitation at 10:00 am followed by Mass at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to LifeSource or donor's choice.
