Obituary of Virginia Lee Wojtowicz
Virginia Lee Wojtowicz (Langner), known affectionately as Ginger, passed away on July 26, 2024, at the age of 85, in Anoka, MN. Born on April 26, 1939, in Minneapolis, she was the cherished daughter of Mabel Thielen and Robert Langner.
Ginger graduated from Edison High School in N.E. Minneapolis in 1957. She built a fulfilling career in commercial printing and was a proud member of the Graphic Arts union until her retirement in 1994.
Ginger's life was rich with love, companionship and travel. She married her beloved husband Robert Wojtowicz in 1958, and together they raised their sons, Mark (Halina) and Greg (Leslie). She was a devoted grandmother to Valerie, Kathryn, Olivia, Josh, Jordan, Christian, Erin, and Danielle, and a doting great-grandmother to Jessie, Faith, JJ, Zack, Harper, Vinny, Carter, Noah, and Nolan And cherished many nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her brother James Langner, and sisters Joanne Stangeland and Micki Langner. Ginger also leaves behind her brother-in-law Stosh Wojtowicz, and her lifelong friend, Joy Weekley. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Bob, Gary, and Larry, and sisters Linda and Marlene.
Ginger will be remembered for her warmth, resilience, and the profound connections she fostered throughout her life. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
