Obituary of Adrian Stanislawski
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Adrian Stanislawski, who left us on July 31st, 2024, at Miller Dwan Rehabilitation Center in Duluth, MN. Adrian Jay Stanislawski was born on April 6, 1975, to Henry and Linda Stanislawski in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. He graduated from Pacelli High School in 1993 and was currently pursuing his associate’s degree in business at Lake Superior College. He married his best friend and soulmate, Jill, in Ocho Rios, Jamaica on February 25, 2006.
Adrian is survived by his wife of 18 years, Jill (Awe) Stanislawski, their 7 furry “kids” Alex, Harley, Korbyn, Pepper, Symon, Tony, and Zyva, his parents, Hank & Linda (Stankowski) Stanislawski, his in-laws, Al & Kathy (McRoberts) Awe, sister-in-law & brother-in-law Tom & Peggy (Awe) Mushel, niece Samantha Johnson, godfather and uncle Henry Kostuch, godson Tyler Marshall, goddaughter Karlee Kluck, special nephew Ryan Marshall, and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, and so many special friends we call “family”.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, August & Katherine Stanislawski, maternal grandparents Casey & Leona Stankowski, godmother and aunt Sue Kostuch, along with several uncles.
Adrian lived life to the fullest, knowing tomorrow was never promised. He loved the Packers, UMD Bulldogs sports, live concerts, going to the latest Marvel movies, and spending time with his wife and 7 furbabies. He never missed an opportunity to brag about his wife or show off the latest cute picture of the “kids”. He always put others first, even if that meant he didn’t get his first choice.
Adrian spent most of his career in banking, with the better part of 20 years being at U.S. Bank. He held many roles, but his favorite was that of mentor and “fixer of everything”.
Adrian touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of love and kindness will forever remain in our hearts.
A special thank you to the staff at Essentia St. Mary’s Hospital and the staff at Miller Dwan Rehabilitation Center for taking such good care of him the past 6 weeks. You all are a wonderful group!
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 10th at Cremation Society of Minnesota – Duluth chapel. Visitation will start at 2 pm with a service to follow at 3 pm. A reception will follow at Mr. D’s in Duluth, MN with heavy hors d’oeurves and cash bar.
In the words of the late Jimmy Buffett, Adrian would want to “keep the party going”. So please, come dressed in your favorite Packer gear, UMD Bulldog attire, or Jimmy Buffett wear. He never liked dressing up, so please keep it casual.
