Obituary of Pauline Catherine Jannette

My Mother Pauline went to Heaven suddenly at home on July 8th, 2024. She was born October 12, 1935, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was 88.

She loved to dance and belonged to the West Coast Swing Dance Club and taught swing dancing for many years, it was her joy. She belonged to the Jazz Society of St. Paul and loved her Dixieland Jazz bands and music.

She was smart, intelligent and funny. She worked for Gillette Corporation for 30 plus years as an Office Manager and Buyer. She still balanced her checkbook, did daily crossword puzzles and loved to play cards and games. She said her Rosary every day and listened to the radio.

She adored her family, especially her Great Grandkids, they loved their GGMOM.

She was preceded in death by her beloved sister Patricia and her nephew and God Son David and sister Marge and her Parents Joe (Harvey) and Eva Santmier.

Survivors include son Bob, Grandchildren Pat (Missy) and Ben (Molli) and six great grandchildren, Zach, Monte, Sophia, Fulton, Mitch and Luna and Uncle Bill and all the family in Pennsylvania and her beloved Neice Deb, who was like a daughter to her.

Visitation at 10AM then a memorial Mass at 11AM will be held July 25th at the Church of St. Joseph of West St. Paul, 1154 Seminole Ave, St. Paul 55118. Cemetery will be immediate family only.

In lieu of flowers please give donations to St. Jude, Wounded Warriors, Tunnels to Towers or the DAV, Moms favorite charities.
