Obituary of David John Hallen

David John Hallen, born March 30th, 1944, passed away peacefully on June 21st, 2024 from multiple health issues. 

David graduated as a Chemical Engineer from the University of Minnesota and worked at 3M as a Process Engineering Manager for 35 years. In retirement, he volunteered as a tax preparer for AARP and helped many people file their taxes for 24 years. He loved doing crossword puzzles, playing cribbage, eating pistachios, listening to Blues for Klook, and spending time with his family. 

He is survived by his wife, Joan Hallen, of 57 years, his children Paul Hallen (Ania) and their son Zander; Katy Kennedy (Tim) and their sons Evan and Elliot; Laura Hallen (Christopher Atkins); and sisters Carole Hallen and Judy Anderson. 

As per his wishes, his family will honor him at a private celebration.
