Obituary of Steve Sorbel

Steve Sorbel, 67 of St. Francis, MN, born May 1st, 1957, died on July 4th, 2024, peacefully at home after a battle with cancer.

He is survived by his siblings, Scott, Mike, and Teri, loving wife Pho, ex-wife and friend Kim, his daughter Sara (Mike), granddaughters Olivia and Isabel, son David (Jill), son Jim (Rene) grandsons Jameson and Finnegan, stepdaughters Tiffany (Kyle), Danielle (Jordan), stepson Cory and step-grandson Dominic.

Steve retired from F. Dolman in 2007 and Rainbow Foods in 2014. He was a collector of many things, loved deer hunting with family, fishing, going to old car shows, the seafood buffet at the casino and watching his grandchildren’s sporting events.

In lieu of a formal service, Steve requested a get together at the farm in Braham where he spent many happy years deer hunting and spending time with family which will be held later this summer. He will be greatly missed.
