Obituary of Lynde Joe Arnold

Lynde Joe Arnold, age 53, of Eagan, MN passed away on June 26th, 2024 after a 5 year battle with cancer. His mom and sister were by his side.  

Lynde was born in Seoul Korea on December 4th, 1970. On November 18th, 1977 Lynde came to MN to join his forever family; Gene (Dad), Linda (Mom) and Jeanne (Sister) Arnold.  

Lynde grew up in Clearbrook, MN where he enjoyed participating in sports, specifically football, track and baseball. Clearbrook is also where he made many lifelong friendships: his hometown was truly home to him.  

After high school, Lynde joined the Army Reserves and served four years while also attending Bemidji State University. At BSU, he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Then, after college, Lynde moved to the St. Paul area where he worked for Menards for over 25 years. 

In his free time, Lynde enjoyed taking road trips on his motorcycle, golfing, going on annual fishing trips to Canada, playing in softball leagues, and visiting with family and friends whenever possible. He loved to “relive” the good old days.  

He is survived by his mother Linda, sister Jeanne (Steve) Anderson, nephew Leif (Emma) Anderson, niece Malin Anderson, his beloved dog Ragnar, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. 

He is preceded in death by his father Gene Arnold.
