Obituary of Barbara Jean Roe

Barbara Jean Roe, 77, formerly of Superior, died June 17, 2024, peacefully in her sleep, at her home in Gordon, Wisconsin.  She was born March 28, 1947, the daughter of Robert and Delores (Altman) Levin.

She worked the the food service industry for many years.  She worked many years at the Hammond Steak House and Zona Rosa amongst many other establishments.  She drove school bus for the Superior School District and did some Home Health Care before retiring.

She is survived by her daughter Jennifer (Clarence) Hill, Superior; her significant other, William Gunderson, Gordon, WI; his daughter Brianna Quinn, Duluth, MN and her daughter Yamyali Quinn; Sisters Mary Esterholm, Jeanette Kindred (Glen Tapper), Debbie (Rob) Semborski, all of Superior; Brother Tom Levin (Peggy Nelson), Superior and many nieces, nephews and other family.

She is preceded in death by her Son, Lonny Roe; Sister Linda DeRoo; Brother Robert Levin; Brother-In-Law Mark Esterholm; Sister-In-Law Sue Levin; Parents Delores (Levin) Oesterreich; Father Robert Levin and Step Father Jack Oesterreich.

Services will be held July 13, 2024 at the Cremation Society of Duluth.  Visitation at 2:00 followed by a Service at 3:00.
