Obituary of Sheila Ann Wallin

Sheila Ann Wallin, age 50, went missing on July 27, 2023, and sadly was found on Friday, May 3, 2024, in North St. Paul, MN.

Sheila was born on June 10, 1973, in Minneapolis, MN to David and Renay Wallin. She grew up in Virginia, MN where she attended Virginia High School, graduating in 1991. After High School she attended the LPN course at Mesabi Range College graduating in 1995.

Growing up Sheila enjoyed snowboarding, spending time on Lake Vermilion swimming, boating, and fishing. She loved spending time with her friends and family. She was an extremely creative and talented artist who drew amazing portraits. She had a huge contagious smile, boisterous laugh, and a big heart as she was always willing to help anyone out.

Sheila is survived by her children Skyler and Payton Widseth, and their father, Daniel Widseth, of Wyoming, MN. Her parents: David (Sandy) Wallin of Lake Vermilion, MN and The Villages of Florida, and Renay Wallin of Hopkins, MN. Sisters: Sara (Keith) Altobelli, of Mt. Iron, MN, Sandra (Jose) Barrios, of Monument, CO, Stepsister, Katie (Jeremy) Lockwood, and Stepbrother, Nicholas Richards all of Virginia, MN. Nieces and Nephews: Logan and Ashlyn Bevan, Vivian Barrios, Kaylynn Richards, Zach Lockwood, Michaela LeDoux, and Tyler and Noah Richards. Aunt Marjorie Wallin of Tower, MN, Uncles Peter (Susan) Sentieri, of Shoreview, MN, Paul (Dionne) Sentieri, of Idaho, Step-Uncles, Les (Cheryl) Pernu of Washington, Gary (Carolyn) Pernu of Gilbert, MN, and Wayne Pernu of Oregon.

Sheila is preceded in death by her paternal Grandparents, Raymond and Lorraine Wallin, maternal Grandparents Peter and Albina Sentieri, Step-Grandmother, Mildred Mitzi Brehmer, and Uncles Mark and Glenn Wallin. Plus, a special Great Aunt Marge Skarp.

Memorials are preferred to go into a dedicated account to help support her children during this difficult time.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on July 29 , 2024, at Gethsemane Lutheran Church. A gathering time for family and friends will begin one hour prior to the service. A burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Virginia.
