Virginia (Ginny) Jablonski


Of Cottage Grove, passed away peacefully on June 12th, 2024 at the age of 92. She was born on April 7, 1932 in Morris, Minnesota. Ginny was preceded in death by her husband, Verne Jablonski, infant son, Mark and daughter Deb Mason.


She is survived by her sister, Sister Audrey Loher, and her children: Kathy Layland, Steve, Sue Greene, Julie (Dan) Daley, Beth (Mike) Zeilinger, Dave (Jan), Lisa Lumby, Dean (Corrine) and Dan (Rebecca). She was a proud grandmother of 28 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.


She retired from St. Paul Public Schools where she was a special education teacher for many years.


A funeral mass will be held on July 8th at 10:30 am with visitation one hour prior, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 920 Holley Ave #1, St Paul Park, MN 55071. The burial will be immediately following the service at the St. Thomas Cemetery. A luncheon will be held following the burial at Tinucci’s Restaurant, 396 21st Street, Newport.
