Obituary of Inez Ann Schade

Inez A. Schade, age 90, of Apple Valley, MN passed away June 5, 2024.

Inez was born on December 31, 1933 in Askov, MN. She attended the University of Minnesota and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology. Inez worked at various hospitals and clinics in the Twin Cities. In 1991, Inez moved to Hawthorne, NV to pursue a new employment opportunity. In 2017, she moved back to Minnesota to be closer to her family.

Inez’s greatest joy in life was being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved gardening, crocheting, and other crafts and was an active member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Minneapolis.

Inez is preceded in death by parents, John and Ellen, brother Verner, and sisters Betty and Irene.

She is survived by children, Myra (Michael) Drake, Marlin (Debbie) Schade, and Margaret (Andy Crump) Schade; grandchildren, Alyssa (Jayvee) Bobb, Brandon (Jenna) Carrigan, Elizabeth Drake, Austin, Zachary and Tyler Schade; great-grandchildren Willow and Emmitt, and many other extended family members and friends.

An open house visitation will be held at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7110 France Avenue South, Edina, MN 55345 on June 24, 2024 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.

A private burial service for family will take place at Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery in Askov, MN.
