Obituary of Julie Ann Eickhoff

Julie Ann Eickhoff, beloved daughter, sister, aunt and grandaunt passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2024. Julie was born October 4th, 1959, in Minneapolis, MN and was a twin with her sister Jenny. Although having mental and physical challenges, Julie was always filled with laughter, a sunny disposition and a good dose of playfulness. Julie was lovingly cared for by her mother for her entire life, her father up until his death as well as the staff at Wingspan Life Resources for the past 35+ years. Julie is survived by her mother, Saundra Eickhoff, her twin sister Jenny, sisters and brother, Teresa (Ed) Moore, Joe Eickhoff and Susan (Jim) Wood. Other surviving family members include nephews and niece, Alex, Andrew, Matthew, Daniel, Zachary, Logan and Nick – aunts Jean Koskie and Donna Swierczyk as well as many, many cousins. Also, the caring staff at Colfax house, including House Coordinator, D Clay. Julie is preceded in death by her father, Richard Eickhoff, niece Kaitlin Wood, sister-in-law Wendy Eickhoff and many aunts and uncles. A service will be held Tuesday, June 18th at Grace Church in Eden Prairie (use Door #2.) A visitation at 10:00am, service at 11:00am, reception to follow. The burial will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. Memorials preferred to Wingspan Life Resources. www.wingspanlife.org
