Obituary of Elizabeth "Kay" Davis

Elizabeth Kay (Beck) Davis passed away on May 18 2024 at Abbott Hospital in  Minneapolis, MN

Elizabeth was born May 20 1961 in Park Rapids MN, to Orville and Valeria (Cekalla) Beck.

Kay, as she liked to be called, grew up in Park Rapids area. She was Baptized and 

confirmed at St.Peter Catholic Church in Park Rapids. Kay graduated with her class in 1980

from Park Rapids Area High School. She then went off to college and soon left for the Twin 

Cities pursuing a career as a Medical Insurance Secretary which she stuck with until the day 

she passed. Kay met the love of her life on her journey, Bruce Davis, they got married and 

bought a home together where they raised two wonderful children Tosha and Ryan. 

Kay Loved to garden she always had flowers all over and plenty of vegetables to go around.

Unfortunately Bruce Davis passed away in 2007, Kay continued to live in their home taking 

care of things. Kay had a heart of gold and loved her family and friends the most.

Kay is survived by, Her Children: Tosha and Ryan of Minneapolis, MN; Brothers: David (Jane) and

Gary of Park Rapids; Sisters: Connie (Stanley) and Linda of Park Rapids; Grand Children: Angelica,

Michelle, Malhaki, Amelia and Baby;Great Grandchildren: Zane and Tru;

And many many nieces, nephews and cousins 

Kay is Preceded in death by Her Parents: Roger and Valeria;  Her Husband: Bruce Davis;

Brothers:Mike and Greg; Sister: La vonne

Grandparents: Alex and Marie Cekella; Nephew: Alex; and many aunts and uncles

Kay will be placed to rest with her Husband Bruce Davis at Fort Snelling
