Obituary of Patricia M Schaffran

Patricia Schaffran (Batko), age 77 of Bigfork, MN passed away peacefully on May 29, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.   She worked for 30 years as a Social Worker in Child Protective Services for Hennepin County. Born in Anoka, MN on May 9, 1947; she grew up there and graduated from Anoka High School in 1965.  She went on to college at St. Kate's University and was an active member of the St. Kate's Alumni Association.

Survived by her husband James, of 50 years; sons, Andrew (Pam), Peter; beloved grandchildren, Lyla, Myah, Peyton, Max; sisters, Kathy, Candy, Jeanne; brothers, Chuck and Kevin.

Preceded in death by parents, Adam and Dorothy Batko; nephew, Adam Biggins    

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at St. Andrew Catholic Church (566 4th St. NW, Elk River, MN 55330) on Friday, June 7, 2024 at 10:30 AM with visitation one hour prior. Interment and lunch to follow.
