Obituary of Lucille Vera Taran

Lucille Vera (Meade) Taran passed away at the age of 96 on Sunday, May 26, 2024.

Lucille married the love her life, Jerome Taran in 1947. Together, they raised three daughters Peggy (James) Proudlock, Deborah (Steven) Frensz Taran, Stacey (Curt) Dimberio.

They were blessed with seven grandchildren Shawn (Michelle) Proudlock, Kara (Tom) Foucault, Mandy (Ryan) Dewey, Lindsay and Casey Frensz, Cursta and Taran Dimberio. Five great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Lucille lived life “one day at a time” whether on the Iron Range, in Texas, or Duluth. Her greatest joy and best accomplishment were a near century of sharing the gift of motherhood through three generations.

Per Lucille’s request, there will be a private family celebration at a later date.
