Obituary of Beverly Ann Eaton

Beverly Ann Eaton, age 82, of Duluth, died Sunday, May 19, 2024 at Edgewood, with her family by her side.

Bev was born May 28, 1941 in Duluth, MN to John and Sylvia Paige. She graduated from Duluth Central High School in 1957.

Bev was married on September 17, 1960 to Melvin Eaton, Jr. Together they raised their two children, Kris and Troy, until his death in 1985.

She was employed by St. Louis County in the auditor’s office and later worked as a court clerk. She worked with Judge Barnes until her retirement in 2001. Bev also worked at the Duluth Arena for nearly 20 years.

Bev was an active member of Elim Lutheran Church where she sang in their choir for many years, participated in circles, and volunteered for many church dinners. One of her favorite events to work at was the annual Elim lutefisk dinner.

She was very crafty and enjoyed many hobbies throughout her life. Most of her enjoyment came from spending time with her family. She was a devoted mother to Kris and Troy, and the best grandma to her four grandsons, who she was extremely proud of.

Bev was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin.

Bev is survived by her daughter Kris (Bob) Griak, her son Troy (Kim) Eaton, and her four grandsons, Tyler, Jacob, Blake, and Ryder. She will be terribly missed by them all.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. at Elim Lutheran Church, 6101 Cody St. Duluth, MN.
