I moved to Edina in 4th grade from Mpls. I met Karla right away and we became life-long friends. “Mrs. B” was a second Mom to me and I spent a lot of time at their home. She was always so warm, kind, funny, smart, and grounded. She loved her family with all her heart and I remember hearing about her good friends too. She always had an open door policy with everyone, including God’s creatures great and small! :) She was an absolute treasure and teacher of what is truly important in Life. Cyn Anderson

I worked with Harriet at the museum shop at the MIA. Loved working for her and we had a great time. My husband and I were invited to Christmas parties at Harriet’s a number of times. she was kind, funny and a wonderful person. Kathy Bluedorn

Harriet was a truly warm person with a great sense of humor. As a ring-in to the Sitek family from Australia, she was especially welcoming to me, and I will never forget her kindness.
Rest in Peace, Harriet.
love from Diana.
