She was a devoted wife to Jim Simons, who preceded her in passing. She was also a sister to Carol and Bill, who continue to carry her memory with them.

Di, as she was affectionately known, was the epitome of maternal love. As a mother of three - Beth, Dean, and Amy - she poured her heart and soul into nurturing and guiding them, imparting wisdom, and providing unwavering support through life's trials and triumphs. Her children were not just her offspring but the very essence of her being, and she dedicated every moment to ensuring their happiness and well-being. Di also had a profound and deep love for Russ, Tracy, and Paul.
