Obituary of Jeffry Sutherland

Jeff was a very knowledgeable man. He loved expanding his knowledge by reading anything he could get his hands on especially anything of science. He had a passion for cooking, loved his music, fishing, playing cribbage, spending time at the lake and was well known for long conversations and most of all, his humor. Jeff enjoyed watching Laurel and Hardy and WC Fields. Survived by his wife Ursula Sutherland, son, Jeremy Sutherland, daughters; Raynie Sutherland (Mike), Nicoleena Sutherland (Chris), Alexandria Harapat (Aaron), sister's Kathy Foust (Brian) and Marcella Johnson (Ron), (8) grandchildren; Dustin, Jaycob, Hunter, Jaycie, Madison, Araya, Dylan and Jax, nephew and niece's (Larry (JR), Lacey, Joie) along with many other cousins and loved ones. Proceeded in death by his father Marcus Sutherland, his mother Stella Sutherland and Mother-in-Law Marlene Schilling. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 20 at 11:00am with visitation one hour prior to service at Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7835 Brooklyn Boulevard, Brooklyn Park, MN. Ceremony to follow at Fort Snelling National Cemetery beginning at 1:45pm. A gathering will be held at 7018 Quail Ave N, Brooklyn Center, MN at the conclusion of the Fort Snelling ceremony. Memorials preferred.
