Obituary of Patricia Ann Farinella

Patricia Ann Farinella (Beck), 68, passed away unexpectedly on May 15, 2016 at a hospital in Edina due to complications from surgery. Pat was born March 5, 1948 in St. Paul, Minnesota, the daughter of the late Patricia and John W. Beck. Following her graduation from Johnson High in 1966, she married her high school sweetheart Mike “Denny” Farinella. Patricia ran an in-home daycare for many years, and was most recently a retail manager for Nordstrom at the Mall of America. She held a leadership position with the Social Committee at Gramercy Park Cooperative in Inver Grove Heights, where she lived. Pat was an avid reader and strong bowler. She loved to travel with her husband and buy gifts for her granddaughters. She is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years, Michael Dennis Farinella, her brother John (Karen) Beck, and sister Constance Putnam, as well as her many nieces and nephews. She was cherished by her daughters, Gina Brown (Tashia), Deanna Adams (Derek), and Michelle Farinella; her grandchildren, William Hall, Aubrey Watson, Skylar and Aria Adams; and her great-grandson, Devin Hall. A memorial service for Patricia will be held on Sunday evening May 22, 2016 at Cremation Society of MN and First Memorial Funeral Chapel, 7110 France Avenue, Edina, MN 55435. Visitation will start at 6:00, a sharing of stories and song will be at 7:00, and a reception will follow.
