Obituary of Joyce C. Paulson

Joyce C. Paulson, 92, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at Edgemont Memory Care facility in Blaine, MN. Interment will be held at Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines, Iowa. No visitation is planned.

Joyce was born March 6, 1932 in St. Paul, MN to Alice and Alvin Vick. She moved with her family to Iowa in 1958 where she remained for most of her life. She retired from the Statesman Group where she held a variety of positions, lastly as a Vice President. She attended Highland Park Presbyterian Church for many years before moving to Minnesota. Joyce also was a volunteer for many years with the juvenile court program.

She loved reading, doing crossword puzzles and playing sudoku.

Joyce is survived by her children, Susan Kraack of Coon Rapids, Mn., Thomas Paulson (Debra) of Becker, Mn., Lynne Rhyne of Bradenton, Fl., Cecelia Paulson (Greg Robinson) of Van Meter, Ia., 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, her brother Robert (Sandy) Vick of Woodbury, MN., and her sister Barbara Seal of St. Paul, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Bruce Paulson, and her husband Clairmont.

A celebration of life will be held by the family in Minnesota.
