Victoria Blue

Obituary of Victoria Marie Blue

Blue, Victoria “Vicki”, 64 from Wayzata & Hopkins passed away peacefully on April 4th, 2024 after a short but hard fought battle with cancer. She will be missed but never forgotten by her children Russell Blue (Nicole Peterson) and Maggie (Adam) Sturm; grandchildren Madison Hall, Vaya, John & Lulu Sturm; brother Ron (Sandy) Haugen; cousin Tiffany (Eric) Hansen, many other relatives and all her friends from the Post 118 Auxiliary in Wayzata. She is welcomed into the next life by her father Richard Haugen, mother Doll Haugen, grandmother Glady Rudy, husband Randall Blue and many other loving family and friends.

Vicki was known to many as a generous and kind soul with a sharp sense of humor. She will be remembered for her welcoming nature and her love for her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She loved watching her grandchildren participate in sports, and spoiling them whenever she could. She cherished her annual trips to Mazatlán, Mexico, a tradition she picked up from her mother. Vicki was an active member of the Wayzata Legion, where she volunteered many hours of her time and loved to play bingo.

A memorial service to celebrate Vicki's life will be held on April 26, 2024, from 12 pm to 3 pm at the Wayzata American Legion.

Vicki’s presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace.
