Obituary of Merrill E. Wenz

Wenz, Merrill E. “Chick” Age 82, of Minnetonka formerly of Chaska/Victoria, MN. Navy and Coast Guard Veteran. Chick loved to boat on Lake Bavaria and Lake Minnetonka. He enjoyed water skiing with friends and family. In his spare time he liked to garden, go out for breakfast and stop at every garage sale on the way. Passed away on May 16, 2016. Preceded in death by parents, Everett Wenz and Lillian and Edward “Jack” Schroers. Survived by loving wife, Sandy; children, Lori (Chris) Jerome, Todd (Peggy) Wenz and Vickie (Trent) Branstetter; grandchildren, Andrew, Michelle, Allison, Eric, Emily, Brooke and Brogan; siblings, Larry (Annie) Schroers and Glen (Rosie) Schroers; other loving relatives and good friends. Memorial service 11 am Monday, May 23rd at Westwood Community Church, 3121 Westwood Dr., Excelsior. Visitation at 10 am.
