Mary was born and grew up in Cumberland, WI and attended UWRF before traveling the US making life-long friends. Mary loved working with USDA for 30+ years, retiring in 2005. Huge thanks to everyone at Frauenshuh Cancer Center, Mayo & North Memorial Hospice for keeping her with us throughout Mary’s favorite seasons of New Beginnings. Thanks to North Memorial for letting us all know she was their strongest warrior, fighting against time. A gathering to celebrate her life will be held at Brooklyn Park Funeral Home at 7835 Brooklyn Blvd in Brooklyn Park, MN, on April 20, 2024, 10am-12pm . To follow Mary’s words, just be there for each other; love each other. And to quote A.A. Milne, “if there ever comes a day when we can’t be together, keep me in your heart I’ll stay there forever.”
When I go, don’t learn to live without me, just learn to live differently. If you need to see me, close your eyes - I’m there. Sit with me in the quiet and you’ll know I didn’t leave, because there is no leaving when a soul is blended with another. We are blended, and I am there.
