Faye Battisti (Conzet)

Obituary of Faye Ellen Battisti (Conzet)

Battisti, Faye Ellen (Conzet) age 85 of Hopkins, MN passed away peacefully, on January 6, 2024. She was born, February 23, 1938, in Fargo, ND to Lauren and Carol Conzet. They moved to Duluth, MN where sister Rita was born, and later settled in Hopkins, Minnesota. Faye was in the first graduating class, 1956, of the new Hopkins High School (Eisenhower). She married Curtis Tiffany and had four children, Brenda, Glen, Rebecca (Becky), and Gary. They lived in Hopkins and then Crystal Minnesota until 1966 when they moved to Washburn, WI. In 1977 Faye married Joe Battisti and moved to Pence/Hurley, Wisconsin where Becky and Gary graduated from High School.

In 2007, Faye returned to Hopkins/Minnetonka, MN to be closer to her children and grandchildren. It was great fun to have her closer. For 10 years she enjoyed many, many beautiful moments with her family, friends and church family and then spent her final 7 years in Chapel View Care Center where she continued her passion of getting to know the residents and especially the wonderful staff. One of her biggest joys was being in town to enjoy her great-grandson!

Faye’s soft-spoken unconditional love and kindness was shared with everyone who ever met her. She genuinely cared about you and inquired about you and yours always. Her children, grandchildren and friends will always remember her famous banana bread and their mutual laughing spells with tears rolling down their faces.

She is survived by her sister Rita (Dick) Fletcher, her children Brenda (Rob) Clarno, Glen Tiffany, Gary (Carol) Tiffany, grandchildren John (Jenny) Clarno, Tiffany (Nick) Paurus, Caitlin Hill, John Hill, Joshua, Lily and Hannah Tiffany, and great grandson Azul Hill-Price. And, of course, her beloved Battisti step children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Battisti, former husband, Curtis Tiffany, daughter Rebecca Hill and granddaughter Kathleen Hill.

She clung to her faith through many difficult times in her life and she was ready to return to our Heavenly Father and all those who had gone before her. Her memorial service will be April 13, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. at First Memorial Chapel, 7110 France Avenue South, Edina, MN 55435. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Chapel View Care Center or CommonBond Communities.
