Obituary of Kevin E. Keil

Kevin E. Keil, 63, Albertville, passed away unexpectedly on March 17th at his home surrounded by his family.

Kevin was born in Crosby, MN on August 22nd, 1960 to Donald and Lois (Pickles) Keil of Aitkin. He graduated from Aitkin High School in 1979. Kevin was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps from 1979 to 1984. Kevin was united in marriage to Lisa Konsor on August 18th, 1984. They were blessed with two sons and five grandchildren. Kevin spent most of his working years as an over the road truck driver. He drove all over the country, but he especially loved driving through the tall mountains. He cherished spending time with his family. Kevin enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, canning and baking, also woodworking on many craft projects. He enjoyed volunteering at his church and always lended a hand for those in need. Kevin had a heart of gold and though he may not have known it, he touched the lives of many.

Kevin is preceded in death by his dad, Donald and brother, Gary.

Kevin is survived by and will be missed deeply by his loving wife, Lisa of 40 years; his sons, Jeremiah (Brooke) Keil of Lawrenceburg, TN, Joshua (Jenny) Keil of Princeton, MN; 5 loving grandchildren Cavin, Jett, Dayna, Bryanna and Cole; mother, Lois Keil of Aitkin, MN; brother, Steven (Vic) Keil of Aitkin, MN; sisters, Donna Mae (Terry) Lane of Park Rapids, MN, and Pam (Donovan) Johns of Boyd, TX; sister-in-law, Debbie Keil of Floodwood, MN; and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Word of Peace Lutheran Church (21705 129th Ave. N, Rogers, MN 55374) on April 5th 2024. Visitation at 10, Service at 11.
