Obituary of Kenneth A. Hengler
Born January 6, 1925, passed May 19, 2016. Ken is survived by his wife, Elayne; sister, Phyllis Nordlund and many nieces, nephews, grand and great-grand nieces and nephews. Ken was a graduate of Minnehaha Academy and Augsburg College. He served in WWII as a Marine. He was a long time sales manager. After retiring from sales, he became a land developer in Hanover, MN. He had a great love of flying and a talent for rebuilding airplanes. He was a member of EAA and enjoyed many hours with friends and family at his hangar at Flying Cloud Airport. A memorial service for Ken will be held Sunday, June 12 at the Hilton Garden Inn, 1975 Rahncliff Court, Eagan. There will be a Fly-Over in honor of Ken at 2 p.m., followed by 1 hour visitation. The eulogy will be held at 3 p.m.. Following the service a buffet dinner will be hosted in celebration of Ken. The family welcomes all who knew and cared for Ken and Elayne.
