Obituary of Carol Jean Bolen
Carol Jean Bolen, 84, passed away on February 9, 2024 @ St. Lukes Hospital Hospice, after a brief illness - surrounded by loving family. She was born on May 7, 1939 in Hawthorne, WI to Harold and Charlotte Haworth.
In Carol’s earlier years, she belonged to the Archery Club and Bowling League. In her later years she learned to Golf, loved trips to the casino, enjoyed swim class @ the Y, Bunko and Mexican Train. Family was SO precious to her. She NEVER missed a special occasion; she was always in attendance for her Children/Grandchildren. Football games, Wrestling, Graduations, Weddings and SO MUCH MORE!!
Carol was employed at A&W restaurant, in Superior, WI, as a cook for many years. She attended WITC to further her education to become a CPA/Tax Preparer. She was employed with Beneficial Finance for 25+ years, before retiring.
Carol is preceded in death by her husband John Sr of 41 years; her parents, Harold and Charlotte Haworth; Infant son Christopher Perry, Daughter Theresa Schnorr; Son-in-law Errol Olson; Brothers - Doug and Mickey Haworth. Grandson Niall Bolen Nesgoda; Granddaughters Rebecca Archambeau and Cristina Perry. Great-Granddaughter Gracie Rose Ultican.
Carol is survived by her children Curtis (Debbie) Perry- Broxton, GA; Don (Mary) Perry- Poplar, WI; Gale (Don) Archambeau- Pleasant Garden, NC; Ruthann Ultican- Meza, AZ; Sharon Olson- Duluth, MN; and John (Gail Jaworski) Bolen- Belews Creek, NC. Brothers Kenneth (Jane) Haworth and Larry (Peggy) Haworth, both of Washington. David (Gloria) Haworth, Nebraska. And Special Nephew Rod (Carin) Haworth, Minnesota. 14 Grandchildren, 21 Great-Grandchildren, 12 Great-Great Grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, EXTENDED Family, and Friends. There have been SO many individuals who stepped up to help mom/grandma during her illness, we truly appreciate, all of you. The Family would like to extend a SPECIAL Thank you to Linda, Mary, Rochelle, Terri, and the staff at St Lukes Hospital/Hospice for their loving care.
A Celebration of Life, is in the planning stages, and will be held at a later time.
