Obituary of Ruth Ann Pritchard

Ruth Ann Pritchard went home to be with her Heavenly Father on February 28, 2024, at the age of 83. She was born on April 17, 1940, in Little Rock, Arkansas where she grew up loving the south and anything Razorbacks.

Ruth Ann was a joy to all who met her. She loved talking and sharing her opinion whether you asked for it or not, especially regarding religion, politics, and sports. Her last years were spent creating lasting impressions on the staff and other patients at Southview Acres Health Care Center. Her family and friends will miss her greatly and yet are so happy she is finally in Heaven with her loving Father. Ruth Ann was a devoted Christian, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved bragging about her grandchildren and great grandchildren to anyone within earshot.

Ruth Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Cohoon, parents Leo and Loretta Waleszonia. She is survived by daughters Victoria Mead and Pamela (John) Stanley. Son’s Brian (Jennifer) Cohoon and Brent (Cindy) Cohoon. Grandchildren Adam (Whitney), Jenna (Danny), Dylan, Benjamin, Parker, Colton, and Natalie. Great grandchildren Ellis, Mara, and Lennox. Brother’s Joe (Carol) Waleszonia, Tom Waleszonia, and sister Cathy Sedlacek.

A celebration of life is scheduled with her immediate family in late March before Ruth Ann is placed in her final resting place at Fort Snelling Cemetery.
