Obituary of Raymond G. Baxton

Raymond G. Baxton, age 78, Mayor Bones of Raleigh St., died June 11th at home, peacefully. He was born February 7, 1940 and lived his life in West Duluth. Raymond was an employee of the Rustic Bar for many, many years and Klean Car Service. He also loved patrolling West Duluth. Raymond never married or had children but he sure loved their company. He was an avid auction customer and pull tabs player and loved going to rummage sales. He was preceded in death by his parents Catherine and Lyle Baxton; sisters Carol, Catherine Jean, MaryLou, Gail, Donalda, and Virginia. Raymond is survived by his brothers Lyle T., Donald and Louis (Karen) all of Duluth; also many nieces and nephews and their children. Services will be held Monday, June18th at 3:00 p.m. at Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Ave., Duluth, MN, with a visitation one hour prior. In honor of "Bones" stay after services for coffee and cookies. His favorite!
