Obituary of Rachel Ann Eskola

Rachel Ann Eskola, 43, of Duluth, MN. passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2016 surrounded by her family and special aunt Diane McDevitt. Rachel was born Aug 18, 1972 to James (Bernadine) Bartl Jr. and Karlyn Bartl. She married the love of her life Kim Eskola Aug 9, 2003 in Duluth, they enjoyed 13 years together. She had a love for all animals. Rachel loved to cook and entertain for her family and friends. Rachel loved to ride her Harley with her husband and friends. Rachel is preceded in death by grandparents, and Uncle Scott. Those who loved and shared her life are: her husband Kim Eskola, son; Alex (Nikki) Eskola, brothers; Jason (Blythe) and Justin Bartl, sister; Karla (Shawn) Ziells, and many aunts and uncles. She is known as “Auntie Choochie” to all of her nieces, nephews and cousins. A celebration of life will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 1st 2016 at the Cremation Society of Minnesota 4100 Grand Ave. Duluth, MN. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew her, and by her dog Keil and cat Sadie and her late cat Al.
