Obituary of Barbara Caroline Larson

Barbara Caroline Larson, 82, of Plymouth, MN sadly left us February 6, 2024. She is survived by her daughter, Melissa (Brian) and grandson, Eddy. She was born in St. Louis Park, MN in 1941 and lived there until she was 11 when death took her parents from her too soon. She spent the rest of her childhood with relatives in Burbank, CA and Evansville, MN. She graduated from Concordia College and spent her career as a creative and energetic elementary school teacher. Barb affected many lives and she enjoyed being stopped in grocery stores and everywhere else by past students and their parents. She enjoyed attending teacher union events and thrilling her students with her colorful and sparkly clothes. She found joy in cooking and movies but her biggest joy, and proudest role, was that of “Grammie” to her beloved grandson. She enjoyed spending time with her family in California after she retired. Those of us who love her the most hope that she was immediately greeted by her parents. She will be missed.
