Obituary of Eunice Marie Bruhjell

Eunice Marie Bruhjell passed away on January 20th, 2024 in Duluth MN surrounded by her family.

Eunice was born July 31st, 1943 in Duluth MN to Alberta and Arthur Sandberg. Eunice grew up and attended school in Esko MN. She raised three children: Dan (Mollie) Bruhjell, Paul Bruhjell, and Kristen (Casey) Abbott. She worked at the Benedictine Health Center for several years, later she worked for Arco Coffee, and worked for Walmart for 12 years before fully retiring.

Eunice loved being surrounded by her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a very loving and caring person, and was always there to help others. In her spare time she loved shopping and going to movies. Eunice was a long time member of the Bethany Community Church.

In addition to her children Eunice is survived by her three grandchildren: Samantha (Mathew) Lewis, Anika and Rowan Abbott, and her two great grandchildren: Nolan and Norah Lewis. She is also survived by her sisters Patricia Koskinen and Diane Bagley as well as her brother Rodney (Sharon) Sandberg. She also had numerous cousins, neices, nephews, and friends.

She is preceeded in death by her parents, her sister Phyllis Sandberg, and brother-in-law Onni Koskinen.

A Celebration of Life will be held April 6th, 2024 at 1:00pm at Bethany Community Church.
