Obituary of Donald Wayne Benson

Donald Wayne Benson, age 82, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at his residence in Ramsey, Minnesota. Don enjoyed fishing, hunting, building things, and gardening. He will be greatly missed for his humor, storytelling/tall tales, and jerky making. Don is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ilah; children, Terry Brigham (Steve - Deceased), Sandy Ryan (John), Darrell Benson (Vicki), Randy Benson (Lori), Hali Plachecki (John); 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; many relatives and good friends. Funeral Services will be held 1pm Wednesday, June 8th at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Ramsey, Minnesota. A special thanks to Stoney River care staff and Pastor David Lechelt.
