Obituary of Kathleen Ann Eickholt

Eickholt, Kathleen A. (O'Donnell) Age 77. The heavens gained an Angel on Wednesday, June 1, 2016. Former resident of Minneapolis for 36 years and a 1956 South High School graduate. She retired from childcare after 43 years. She was a member of TWIG 6 in Columbus, Ohio for 33 years and a member of St Anthony Parish. Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, James O'Donnell and Marcella Johnson; husband, Robert Eickholt; sister, Rose Marie Wetterman; great grandson, Ezekiel Clark. She is survived by children, Colleen (Valdis) Rutks, Karen (David) Kelly, Merry Lea (Tim) Goodrich, and Mark (Shelly) Eickholt; grandchildren, Kerri (Joshua) Clark, Cory (Kayla) O'Donnell, Shawn (Courtney) Kelly, Shannon (Jason) Stevning, Ryan and Daniel Kelly, Tyler and Tiffany Goodrich, Joshua and Jordan Eickholt, Derek (Emily) Rutks; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Sharon Polak, and Joanie (Jerry) Downes; sister-in-law, Betty (Don) Laschansky; many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the Minnesota Masonic Home Memory Care Team for their love and compassion for our mom. Family will receive friends Monday, June 13, 2016 at the Minnesota Masonic Home Chapel, 11501 Masonic Dr. Bloomington from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a Memorial Service held at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Minnesota Masonic Home or donor's choice.
