Obituary of Gloryanne Stone

On January 3, 2024, Gloryanne Stone passed away peacefully at age 84.  Gloryanne, an incredible wife, mother and grandmother cared deeply about her family and friends.  Many people– especially those close to either of her children–considered her a surrogate mother.  She cared for others not out of obligation, but because of who she was.

Born on March 25, 1939, in Salem, Massachusetts, Gloryanne was the loving daughter of Bernard and M. Glory Spellman.  She graduated from Salem State University and was a high school English teacher for many years.  She lived, attended her K-12 school (Saint Crittenden’s), and attended college all on the same road in Salem!

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Wayne;  her children, Christopher (Trish) Stone and Allison (Jon) Errickson; and her grandchildren, Katherine and Drew Errickson.

Visitation will be held from 2-3 on Friday, January 19th at St. Therese of Deephaven Parish, followed by Mass at 3 p.m.  St. Therese 18325 Minnetonka Blvd., Wayzata, MN 55391.
