Obituary of Thomas Peter Ross

Thomas (Tom) Peter Ross, January 21, 1949 – January 3, 2024. Tom died peacefully at home where he loved to be. He was preceded in death by his mother (Faith), father (Marvin) and brother (Marvin Jonathon – Jon). Tom is survived by his brother Patrick Ross (Chris) of Somerset WI; and his four sisters: Cathy Earley(Bruce) of St. Paul, MN; Mary Lacho (Jon) of Backus, MN; Susan Ross of Leesburg, VA; Jane Gould (Gerald) of Danbury, WI; numerous cherished cousins, nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and beloved and trusted friends. Tom grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota, attending Nativity and Cretin as prep schools; and then graduating from Macalester College. Tom spent his life working in health care, assisting and caring for others – including many coworkers whom he loved and considered to be his second family. Tom was a gifted musician and he shared that gift freely – whether playing the organ for, or singing in, various church choirs around the cities. Tom loved to garden, and his meticulous attention to detail always produced beautiful plants and flowers that were frequently admired and appreciated by his neighbors, friends, and his family.
