Obituary of Clarice Pearl Turcotte

Clarice Pearl Turcotte, 86, passed away January 5, 2024 in Duluth at St. Luke’s Hospital. 

She was born March 2, 1937 in Duluth to John Sorlie and Christine (Olson).  She graduated from Central High School in 1955.  She married Earl Turcotte and after his passing, she married Kenneth Johnson.  Clarice returned to work after raising her daughters.  She retired from St. Louis County OSHA.  She enjoyed volunteering at Arnold Lutheran Church and later at Family of God Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; brother, John Sorlie; and step-daughter, Deb Kossett.

Clarice is survived by her daughters, Sue (Bob) Schwarz, Sandy (Kelly) Sandstrom, Shelly (Mark) Manion, Sharon (David) Nolander and step-son, Patrick (Susie) Caster; grandchildren, Jesse and Jordan Schwarz, Matthew (Norwaseh) Sandstrom, Nicole, Bridget (Cesar), Kristina and Bill Manion, Jacob Nolander and Lauryn Caster; God-Son, Christopher Stockland and special nephews, Rick (Cyndi) Hanson and Tim McNulty.

Visitation will be 10:00 am until the 11:00 am Service on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Family of God Lutheran Church, 4097 Martin Road, Duluth.
