Obituary of Dr. Stephan Harding Earl

Dr. Stephan Harding Earl, 84 of Champlin passed away on 12/29/23. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, former spouses, Dianne and Deanna, son, Eric; nephew, Matthew; brother, Tom; brother-in-law, Dennis. He is survived by his loving partner, Donna Frain, son, Jeff; daughter, Lisa; and grandchildren, Jason (Brittany), Charles (Joanna), Ella and Iris; and sister, Mary Kay.

Steve attended Indiana University for college and medical school.  He came to Minnesota for his internship.  Steve started his career at Douglas Drive Family Physicians/North Memorial Medical Center. After 20 years, he went to went to Abu Dhabi to open an American Clinic.  Upon his return to Minnesota, he finished his career at Group Health Clinics.  Steve was an accomplished birder and world traveler. 

A memorial service will take place on Friday, 01/12/24 at 11 am at Word of Peace Lutheran Church, 21705 – 129th Ave. N., Rogers, MN  55374.  A visitation will take place one hour prior. For memorials, please consider a donation to the Salvation Army or the Nature Conservancy.
