Obituary of Nancy M. Matczynski

Age 81 of St. Paul Park. Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 after a brief, but courageous battle with cancer. Preceded in death by husband, Joseph; parents; sister, Corrine Anderson and brother, William Conlin. Survived by her sons, Mark (Michelle), David (Gail); granddaughters, Mikayla, Kaitlyn and Madelynn; sister-in-law, Rhonda Rhoades; niece, Laurie (Jerry) Knock; nephew, Keith (Kris) Anderson and many beloved relatives and friends. Nancy enjoyed trips to the casino, time with family and friends and many family traditions. She will be remembered for her love of St. Patrick’s Day, and her annual tree decoration parties. Nancy worked until the age of 79 as a para for Ind. school district 833. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed! A special thank you to Patty, Terry, Melanie and Norm at Health East Hospice for their extraordinary care and support. Gathering from 5-8pm on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at the Cremation Society of MN-St Paul Chapel, 1979 Old Hudson Road. Mass of Christian Burial at 10am on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Church of the Assumption, 51 W. 7th Street, St Paul, MN. Visitation one hour prior. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
