Obituary of Donald Dale Luebbe
Donald Dale "Don" Luebbe, 73, of Solon Springs, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2016, at his home.
Don was born on Dec. 22, 1942, in Wausau, Wis. to Carl and Viola (Janz) Luebbe, Sr. He grew up in Ringle, Wis. and moved to Solon Springs in 1962. Don was united in marriage to Pam Crandall on Sept. 21, 1963. He was employed at Mosinee Paper Corp. in Solon Springs for 27 years and also worked as an accountant and tax preparer. Don loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Viola and wife, Pam Luebbe.
Don is survived by his son, Don (Terri) Luebbe of Solon Springs; two grandsons, Dylan Luebbe of Fargo, N.D. and Tyler (Megan) Luebbe of Fargo, N.D.; two great-grandchildren, Olivia Flowers and Carter Luebbe of Fargo, N.D.; brother Carl (Rene) Luebbe, Jr. of Ringle, Wis. as well as many nieces and nephews.
Gathering of family and friends: from 11 am until the 11:30 am memorial service Saturday, June 18 at the Solon Springs Community Center. A luncheon will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
