Obituary of James Eugene Mallinger

Mallinger, James Eugene (Jim) of Maple Grove, Minnesota passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023 after a short fight against cancer. He passed peacefully surrounded by family and friends.

Jim was a beloved husband, brother, father, uncle, and friend.

He is survived by his best friend and wife of 46 years, Joleen.  Jim is also survived by his three sons, Joseph (Jolynn), Dean (Rachel), Randy (Christina), and his sister Patricia (James Hanegan).  Jim was loved by many nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.

Preceded in death by his mother Francis (Lyle Dalen). 

There will be a Celebration of Life for Jim at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 7401 County Road 101, Maple Grove 55311 on Friday, January 5, 2024. Visitation at 10:00 AM and service at 11:00 AM.
