Obituary of Jeremy Allen Morrell
Jeremy "Jeb" Allen Morrell, 45, of Cook.
Jeb was born April 28, 1971, in Virginia, and grew up in Duluth.
He also spent much time on Lake Vermilion becoming very close to his grandmother "Mummi" and his Uncle Boofer (Carl Carlson III) and Aunt Jill Wagoner. He moved to Kansas for several years, but returned to Minnesota, eventually settling in Cook.
Jeb loved the outdoors and anything with a motor, making employment in the construction industry a natural fit. He was passionate about music and talented with a guitar. Family was truly important to him. He was very loved by many and will be deeply missed, as will his quick wit.
Jeb is survived by his parents, James and Wende (Maki) Morrell; sisters, Meaghan Morrell-Huot (Patrick Huot) and Mallory Morrell. He also leaves his children Lauren (Hellem) Reder (Derrick Reder), Michael Morrell, Logan Morrell, and Jade Morrell; his maternal grandmother, Jacqueline Carlson; paternal grandfather, Robert Morrell; grandchildren, Herrick and Violet Reder; niece and nephew, Kenna and Kellan Huot; as well as a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
His family would like to offer a special thanks to Saint Louis County Sheriff's' Department for their efforts.
A private family memorial service is pending.
