Obituary of Loretta Marie Immerfall

Loretta Marie (Hinnenkamp) Immerfall, 92, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2016, with family by her side in Sunnyside Health Care Center in Cloquet. She was born on Aug. 28, 1923, in Melrose, to Henry and Gertrude Hinnenkamp. She moved with her family to Duluth at an early age. She met and married Amandus Immerfall and together they had five children. Loretta's greatest joy was her family. Her interests included crafts, crocheting, gardening, cooking, baking and playing cards and dice with family. Loretta had a heart of gold with plenty of spunk and loved her family and friends dearly. She was a member of St. Elizabeth's Church and the Slovenian Women's League. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Amandus; 12 siblings; and many in-laws. Loretta is survived by her five children, Betty Kriske, Linda (Dennis) Leland, Ronald Immerfall, Janet (Greg) Anderson and Duane (Lisa) Immerfall; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; brother, Henry Hinnenkamp; as well as many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank all the wonderful caregivers at Sunnyside Health Care Center for the loving care they provided to Loretta over the years she resided there. VISITATION: 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. funeral service on Saturday, June 18, 2016, in First Memorial Funeral Chapel 4100 Grand Ave. Duluth. A reception will follow the service.
