Obituary of Charlene Wasley

Charlene Wasley, 63, of Duluth, passed away Sunday June 12, 2016, in her home surrounded by her friends. Char was born Nov. 18, 1952, in Duluth, to the late Gerald and Juanita Wasley. She spent the majority of her life as a West Duluthian. She could often be seen walking her neighborhood and hanging out at McDonalds in West Duluth, her favorite spot. Char was an avid collector throughout her life, Particularly of KISS and Beatles memorabilia. Char loved music, especially that of KISS. Char attended countless Kiss concerts and was one of their most ardent fans. Survivors include her brothers, Bill (Jan) Godden and Larry (Christine) Wasley; niece, Erin Godden; and many nieces and nephews. The family wants to thank the REM Spirit Staff, DRCC, and Choice Unlimited for the special care they gave to Char. Char was loved by all of those who knew her, and she will be missed by many. CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2016, in the Cremation Society of Minnesota 4100 Grand Ave. Duluth. 218-624-5200. A gathering of family and friends will be held one hour prior in the funeral home.
