Obituary of Laura Marie DaRonco

Laura Marie (Briddell)DaRonco, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones on June 13th 2018, in Superior Wi due to cancer. She was born June 10th, 1948 to Lloyd and Joyce(Bergstrom) Briddell. Raised on a farm outside of Superior Wi., Laura had a great love for nature and animals. From an early age Laura knew she wanted to be a nurse. She made that dream come true in 1968 when she graduated from WITC in Superior. Nursing was second nature to her. One of her coworkers shared " Laura was a great nurse and wonderful teacher who knew what love and compassion meant and how to make patients feel special". On February 20th, 1971, Laura married John DaRonco. Shorty after, they purchased land from Laura's parents and made a farm and family of their own. Family was incredibly important to her and the support and love she gave will be greatly missed. Laura did indeed know how to make others feel special. Gentle and loving and with a quiet charm, she made friends everywhere she went. Many of those friendships ran deep and were many decades long. Throughout her life she maintained a sweet and simple demeanor that won the trust and hearts of many. Her signature gift of joy, shown through her smile and laughter and will never be forgotten. She is survived by stepdaughter, Patricia Green(Roger), Son, Troy DaRonco(Julie) and daughter, Wanda DaRonco(Troy Jacobson). Grandchildren, Christina Cristobal(John-Philip), Carla DaRonco, Sharon Green, Sherry Green, Roger Green, Ellie DaRonco and Katie Jacobson. Dear sister of Timothy Briddell, Gloria (Jesse) James and Penny Briddell. She is proceeded in death by Husband, John DaRonco, parents, Lloyd and Joyce(Bergstrom) Briddell.. Sisters, Lorrine "Tina" Stangler and Judy Zehner. Niece Theodora Dimitri.
