Obituary of Tracy Leigh Thompson
Tracy Leigh Thompson, age 48 became one of Gods angels on October 31st, 2023. She was continuously surrounded by her family until her final moment with us on November 3rd, 2023. Our loving and selfless Tracy gave the gift of life to three male recipients ages 54, 34 and 31 through organ donation. A part of our beautiful Tracy lives on.
Tracy was born on March 28th, 1975 in Seoul, Korea. At 6 months old, she was adopted by Francis and Donna Fischer and brought home to her new forever family in Golden Valley, Minnesota.
Tracy was raised in Minnesota and has lived in Minnesota all of her life. She graduated from Park Center High School and went on to complete a multiple occupation training program and started a career of working in medical business offices, including an office manager at a chiropractor practice, as well as manager of the insurance claims department at Allina Health. Tracy later switched careers and went on to become a Personal Care Assistant. Tracy was the life of our family get-togethers. She had a special way of making every moment with her enjoyable. Spending time with her was never dull. Her enormous beautiful smile lit up the room whenever she entered it, and it was every single time she would greet you. Her contagious laugh could get us all going. She was extremely loving and caring and always knew the right things to say. She always put everyone before herself.
Tracy devoted her life to her 4 favorites, her two sons, Devian and Bryce, her fiancé Chris, and her little yorkie Angel.
Tracy loved the Minnesota State Fair, the outdoors, the ocean, tropical vacations, exploring new places and things, site seeing, music, socializing, spending time with friends and family, games, comedies, sitcoms, world news, politics and conspiracy theories.
Tracy was survived by her two sons Devian and Bryce, fiancé Chris, father Francis (Sylvia), sister Nicole (David) niece Tiffany (Kyle), nephew Gus, nephew Noah, aunts, uncles, and cousins and friends.
Preceded in death by mother Donna Fischer, grandmother Kathleen Rocchio, grandfathers Mike Rocchio and Mike Polari, grandmother Lillian Fischer and grandfather Francis Fischer, Sr.
Tracy is already deeply missed and our lives and our family will never be the same without her in it. Heaven has gained a magnificent angel.
A Memorial Service for Tracy will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 18th at the First Memorial Chapel, 7835 Brooklyn Boulevard Brooklyn Park, MN 55445.
It was Tracy’s request for cremation, and for her ashes to be released into the ocean. This wish will be granted and there will be a water burial planned in the near future.
