Obituary of Jerrold Polinsky

Polinsky, Jerrold (Jerry) Age 85 died peacefully on June 16, 2016. Jerry was born and raised in Duluth and spent the majority of his adult life there. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nat and Viola Polinsky. He was loved and will be missed by his children, Gary (Elizabeth), Debbie Disch (Mike), Doug (Paula), and Jim (Amy), as well as his 11 grandchildren, 3 great-grand-children, and brother, Richard (Carol). Jerry was active on various company boards, the United Jewish Appeal, and many other civic and charitable organizations. He was an avid sports fan all his life and coached many youth hockey and basketball teams as his sons were growing up. His lasting legacy is the Nat G. Polinsky Rehabilitation Center in Duluth, a facility that he, along with his brother and mother, worked tirelessly to bring to fruition. Private service.
