Obituary of Roland L. Anderson

Roland L. Anderson peacefully left his earthly home on June 17, 2016 at the Staples Care Center. Roland suffered from Dementia for several years. Preceded in death by Father Clarence and Mother - Emma (Tootie) (Davis) Anderson, Brother-Larry (Cork), daughter in law-Colette. Survived by Sons Brad & Davin (Diane), Grand children Brette (Nick) Rainforth, Erik, Matilda (Matt) King, Kiersten (Justin) Korth and great grandchild Carson Rainforth, Merlyne Bissell and Many members of the Anderson and Everett Davis, Morris Baker family from the Verndale, MN area. Born 3-25-1931 in Verndale, graduated Valectorian class of 1949 Verndale High School, earned a degree in Agri Business Admin Univ of MN 1953 Married his high school sweetheart Merlyne in 1950 who remained a life long friend. Spent many years working in the Twin Cities area for Red Owl and Brooke's Brothers before moving into self employment for many years in TX. Private memorial service was held July 30th with interment in the Verndale Greenlawn Cemetery.
